The purpose of a splint ring is to prevent the hyperextension of the finger. Therefore, while wearing the ring, you will not be able to fully flex it. Since the ring will fit over the knuckle, the bottom of the ring will be approximately one size larger than the top. Please size for the bottom of the ring
